Arc en Ciel Academy was established because we believe education is one of the most powerful tools for breaking the cycle of poverty. By providing a safe, nurturing environment where children can learn and thrive, we are helping build brighter futures for children, families and the wider community.

Founded in April 2022, Arc en Ciel Academy is a day school serving children from the age of three. We currently provide education from nursery through to Grade 3.

The school was created in response to a local need for high-quality, affordable education. Our aim is to give children a strong educational foundation while remaining accessible to families within the community.

Today, 120 children attend the school across six classes. They are supported by a dedicated team of six teachers and a Head of School, who oversees the day-to-day running of the academy, acts as a parent liaison, and supports the welfare of our pupils.

Education is only part of what we provide. Every child receives both breakfast and lunch each day, ensuring they are well nourished and ready to learn. For many families, this support is an important part of helping their children attend school consistently and thrive.

Many of our pupils come from families facing economic hardship, and some parents have chosen to transfer their children from other schools after seeing the difference that a nurturing environment and individual attention can make.

We are proud of the progress our pupils make, both academically and personally. By combining education with care, encouragement and practical support, we are helping children develop the confidence and skills they need to reach their full potential.

As our pupils progress through their education, so does the school. Beginning with the introduction of Grade 4 in 2027, we plan to add one additional class each year, gradually expanding throughout the primary years and allowing children to continue their educational journey within the Arc en Ciel family.

Our vision remains the same: to provide every child with the best possible start in life and the opportunity to build a brighter future.
